Catherine Fulvio of Ballyknocken House and Cookery School Receives International Recognition
The Americans never do anything by halves and that includes their admiration, fascination and love of food. Each year America hosts the International CORDON D’OR, Gold Ribbon Culinary Academy Awards, the “foodies” equivalent to The Oscars, without the drama!
This year Wicklow chef, Catherine Fulvio of Ballyknocken House and Cookery School has been recognized by the Cordon D’Or Golden Ribbon Awards.
Ballyknocken Cookery School is officially the CORDON D’OR Culinary Academy International Cookery School of the Year 2007
Unbeknown to Catherine a team from the Culinary Academy was travelling around the country, in search of Ireland’s culinary talent and it was on a visit to Ballyknocken Cookery School that they discovered Catherine Fulvio.
These awards have been running for over twenty years and their aim is to acknowledge and reward the crème de la crème of epicurean talent throughout the world.
The awards are due to take place in January 2008, in Florida, and all at Irish Farmhouse Holidays wish Catherine the best of luck!
